Business Development Executive – RIA Channel

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an energetic and experienced business development executive to join Essentia Capital Partners to drive capital inflows from Registered Investment Advisers for our real estate fund offerings in self storage, industrial, and multifamily real estate. The business development executive will leverage their established network of registered investment advisers (RIAs) to promote and secure investments in our funds from their clients.

Job Duties

  • Utilize your existing network of Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs) to identify and engage potential investors who are actively seeking real estate investment opportunities in self storage, industrial, and multifamily real estate

  • Arrange and lead meetings with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) to identify their clients’ investment needs and to develop long-term partnerships between RIAs and Essentia Capital Partners

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition, financial projections, and risk-return profiles of Essentia’s real estate offerings to RIAs and potential investors

  • Implement best practices to enhance scalability and effectiveness in capital raising activities 

  • Ensure compliance with securities laws, regulations, and industry standards in all capital raising activities, client interactions, and investment communications

  • The performance of the BD RIA Exec will ultimately be heavily based on the amount of new capital invested in our quarterly closings

Qualifications 

  • At least 4 years of experience in fundraising for private funds focused on real estate 

  • Established, robust network of RIAs with the ability to energize and mobilize this network swiftly and effectively

  • Successful track record of raising capital for private real estate products 

  • Deep understanding of equity financing, capital markets, and investment structures within the real estate industry (self storage, industrial, multifamily)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.


The person who is going to be successful in this role has a large network of strong relationships with RIAs (and perhaps HNWIs) who regularly invest in real estate offerings. This is critical. We have strong investment offerings but you will be successful only if you have a network that is interested in real estate opportunities and based on your relationship will readily consider what we have to offer.
