Registered Representative – Capital Raising Specialist

What We’re Looking For 

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Registered Representative to join our team as a Capital Raising Specialist, focusing on raising capital for our private real estate funds in self storage, industrial, and multifamily real estate. As a registered representative, you will leverage your network of clients and investors to promote and secure investments in Essentia’s fund offerings. **This is a commission-based position**

Job Duties

  • Educate clients about the benefits, features, and investment potential of Essentia Capital Partners’ real estate funds through presentations, meetings, and communication channels

  • Assist clients with due diligence processes by providing access to fund documents, performance reports, and investment disclosures to support their investment decision-making

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition, financial projections, and risk-return profiles of Essentia’s real estate offerings to potential investors

  • Raise capital for Essentia’s private real estate funds 

  • Implement best practices to enhance scalability and effectiveness in capital raising activities 

  • Ensure compliance with securities laws, regulations, and industry standards in all capital raising activities, client interactions, and investment communications

Qualifications

  • Registered Representative or Investment Advisor Representative (Series 82 required) with a reputable broker-dealer or financial institution

  • Strong network of clients and investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutions, and qualified clients, with the ability to energize and mobilize this network swiftly and effectively

  • Results-driven with a successful track record of raising capital for real estate products 

  • Deep understanding of equity financing, capital markets, and investment structures within the real estate industry (self storage, industrial, multifamily)

  • At least 3 years of experience in fundraising for private funds focused on real estate 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.

The person who is going to be successful in this role has a large network of strong relationships with RIAs (and perhaps HNWIs) who regularly invest in real estate offerings. This is critical. We have strong investment offerings but you will be successful only if you have a network that is interested in real estate opportunities and based on your relationship will readily consider what we have to offer.
